Their ceremony was at First Presbyterian Church in downtown Natchez, MS.

Monica was absolutely stunning.

The reception was at Brant’s parents’ home, Routhland.  Ironically, I photographed Ree and Ryan’s wedding reception there three years ago.  Small world!

Monica and the bridesmaids got ready at Routhland, so I met them there to take pictures.

The weather in Natchez was kind of dreary.  Up until the moment Monica walked in the door of the church. As she walked down the aisle to “Here comes the sun,” the sun literally started shining!  Monica walked down the aisle by herself, and as she got half way down the aisle, Brant met her.  I asked if she knew he was going to, and she said yes.  That he told her, “I’m coming to get you.”  Needless to say, there wasn’t a dry eye in the sanctuary!

Brant’s nephew was the ring bearer.  He had just turned two and was very interested in what they were saying!

Monica and Brant did not see each other before the ceremony, so we didn’t get a ton of pictures of just the two of them.  But these are some of my favorite – just the sheer joy on both of their faces that they were finally married!

The reception was beautiful.  Brant’s cake was a turkey!!  I’ve seen a lot of cakes, but I’ve never seen a turkey!

I love this picture of them kissing – especially because you see their reflection in the mirror!

Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your wedding.  I pray you enjoy many many years with each other.

Ginger and Kendall were up for anything, so we drove down the drive a little to take pictures of just the two of them. It was a beautiful day – not too hot nor too cold. They even walked out in the grass area for a few shots!

After the ceremony, we took a few more pictures as the sunset, before the ceremony officially began. The chandelier in the tent was gorgeous once it was nightfall.

We are now accepting submissions for the April and May shows.

The April show is called Emergence – it’s a group show of mixed media of emerging artists.  The May show is titled “postcards to Columbus”.  Each person can get up to 5 watercolor postcards from us to draw on, paint on, attach a photograph to, etc.  This is a really cool show.

Mary Margaret is a great athlete. She plays goalie and stopped the other team from scoring 21 goals in one game a couple of weeks ago! We had fun driving around taking pictures. Rebecca had scouted out some places for us, and we’d jump out, make MM change clothes and take pictures!

Thanks Swain family for allowing me to freeze time in your kids lives!

Here are a few of their engagement pictures. We took some in downtown Jackson before we headed out to Pinelake Church to take some at the cross where Ben proposed to Stephanie! We were hoping for sunset pictures, but it was overcast. The clouds could not have turned out any better! It definitely gives the pictures dimension and mood.
